Bubba is making huge strides thanks to his new therapy equipment!

All of the items purchased with his grant has helped Bubba’s physical abilities tremendously! He is now starting to try the monkey bars on his indoor therapy gym! Mom Christa told us, “The new fence is amazing, Bubba loves being able to run the entire yard freely. The windows have been an amazing help keeping Bubba safe, they are solid and he is unable to break them like the old ones.”

Last October, Bubba started ABA therapy (Applied Behavioral Analysis). The progress from ABA therapy for Bubba is "remarkable." He went from being mostly non verbal to occasionally speaking relevant sentences! He is starting to communicate and his family couldn't be happier. Also the Schaefer family will be at the capital on April 20th rallying at 'Disable the Label,' which is advocating for insurances to cover vital therapies for autistic patients.
